St. Petersburg Collegiate High School, St. Petersburg and St. Petersburg Collegiate High School North Pinellas, Tarpon Springs, offers Pinellas County students in grades 10 through 12, a unique opportunity to simultaneously earn a high school diploma and an Associate in Arts degree. St. Petersburg Collegiate STEM High School at SPC’s Downtown Center in St. Petersburg offers students in grades 9 through 12 the opportunity to simultaneously earn a high school diploma, an Associate in Science degree, and two industry certifications leading to a high-wage, high-demand STEM careers. Students will also participate in the SPCHS Leadership Program to develop the skills and mindset to lead at St. Petersburg Collegiate High Schools, St. Petersburg College, and in their academic and work lives after graduation.

General Requirements

Requirements for All Students:

  1. Applicant must attend a public high school, a valid private high school or home education program within the Pinellas County School district.
  2. Parents and students must attend an SPCHS Informational Session.
  3. A completed application packet must be submitted by 3:30 p.m. on January 23, 2026.


Grade 9 Pre-Collegiate Admission Criteria:

St. Petersburg Collegiate STEM High School

  • Unweighted GPA of 2.5 or higher


Grade 10 Pre-Collegiate Admission Criteria:

St. Petersburg Collegiate High Schools (SPCHS, SPCHSNP, SPCSHS) 

Pre-Collegiate Program is strategically designed to prepare 10th grade students for success in college courses.

  • Unweighted GPA of 3.0 or higher
  • Currently taking OR successfully passed Algebra I and the End of Course exam by the end of grade 9
  • Minimum College Placement Test scores of:
    • 92 in Reading
    • 92 in Writing
    • 100 in Mathematics

Students must meet minimum PERT scores by the first application deadline of January 23, 2026. St. Petersburg Collegiate High Schools’ Collegiate Program is an accelerated program for 11th and 12th grade students who are dual enrolled in all college courses simultaneously earning a high school diploma and an Associate’s degree.

  • Unweighted GPA of 3.0 or higher
  • Minimum College Placement Test scores of:
    • 106 in Reading
    • 103 in Writing
    • 114 in Mathematics
  • Successfully passed Algebra I and the End of Course exam
  • Successfully passed Algebra II or Geometry by the end of the grade 10 year
  • Private or home education students who have not had the opportunity to take End of Course exam(s) will take them with SPCHS.
