This past Saturday, December 7th, St. Petersburg Collegiate High School (St. Petersburg/Gibbs) won the 12th Annual Pinellas County Schools’ Ethics Bowl competition. Coached by SPCHS alum Sydney Corragio, the team made up of Grace McKaveney, Alexis Young, Heather Andrasik, and Kim Tran defeated Clearwater Central Catholic in the final round to win the competition. Other schools that competed included St. Petersburg High School, East Lake High School, and Dixie Hollins High School. With this victory, SPCHS will compete next in a virtual Ethics Bowl competition to have a chance to compete in the National competition at the University of North Carolina- Chapel Hill in the spring. We are very proud of the hard work our team put into preparing for this competition. We are also grateful at the leadership of Sydney Corragio and the support of teacher sponsor- Mr. Walch. Congratulations ladies!
