St. Petersburg Collegiate High School offers 10th – 12th grade students in Pinellas County a unique opportunity to simultaneously earn a high school diploma and an Associate in Arts degree.

General Requirements

Requirements for All Students:

  1. Applicant must attend a public high school, a valid private high school or home education program within the Pinellas County School district
  2. Parent and student must attend an Information Meeting
  3. A completed application packet must be submitted by the deadline

Pre-Collegiate Admission Requirements:

St. Petersburg Collegiate High School‘s Pre-Collegiate Program is strategically designed to prepare 10th grade students for success in college courses.

  • Unweighted GPA of 3.0 or higher
  • Successfully passed Algebra I and the End of Course exam at time of application
  • Minimum College Placement Test scores of:
    • 92 in Reading
    • 92 in Writing
    • 100 in Mathematics
  • Additional Completed Courses (preferred)
    • Biology l and the End of Course exam
    • Health Opportunities through Physical Education (HOPE)
    • Geometry and the End of Course exam
    • Students who have not had the opportunity to take the End of Course exams will take them with SPCHS

Collegiate Program Admission Requirements:

St. Petersburg Collegiate High School‘s Collegiate Program is an accelerated platform for 11th and 12th grade students (dual enrolled) in required college courses for an Associate in Arts degree.

  • Unweighted GPA of 3.0 or higher
  • Minimum College Placement Test scores of:
    • 106 in Reading
    • 103 in Writing
    • 114 in Mathematics
  • Successfully passed Algebra I and the End of Course exam
  • Successfully passed Geometry and the End of Course exam
  • Successfully passed Biology l and the End of Course exam
  • Students who have not had the opportunity to take the End of Course exams will take them with SPCHS
