Counselor’s Corner

At St. Petersburg Collegiate High School, we believe that personalized and individualized academic counseling is paramount to students achieving their full academic potential. Our goal is to help students focus on academic, career and social/emotional development so they achieve success in school and are prepared to lead fulfilling lives as responsible members of society.

Tutoring and Assistance at SPC Learning Centers
Did you know? Students who visit our Learning Centers more than four times in a term can improve their success rate by more than 80%! We want SPCHS students to succeed and encourage them to take advantage of the free tutoring and assistance available at the SPC Learning Centers.

Academic Advising

Our goal for every student is that when they graduate from one of the St. Petersburg Collegiate High Schools,  each student has options for their next step in their academic path.  All SPCHS campuses provide weekly seminars for juniors and seniors which cover career and college planning, the college application process, paying for college, and personal/social needs including resiliency.  To reach the school counselor for each campus, or the academic advisor on the Gibbs campus, please utilize the phone numbers, emails, and online links below.

Report a Safety Concern

St. Petersburg Collegiate High Schools in collaboration with Pinellas County Schools has partnered with Sandy Hook Promise to offer the Say Something Anonymous Reporting System. Say Something allows you to submit secure & anonymous safety concerns to help identify and intervene upon at-risk individuals BEFORE they hurt themselves or others. Tips made to the Say Something Anonymous Reporting System are passed along to the appropriate law enforcement agencies and school officials. Visit the Say Something Anonymous Reporting System.

Additionally, the St. Petersburg Collegiate High Schools utilize FortifyFL, a school-related suspicious activity reporting tool that allows Florida students and the community the ability to instantly relay information anonymously concerning unsafe, potentially harmful, dangerous, violent or criminal activities, or the threat of these activities, to the appropriate law enforcement agencies and school officials. FortifyFL was created and funded by the 2018 Florida Legislature as part of the Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School Public Safety Act. Visit the FortifyFL website.
